Lady Lynn, the Rose’s beautiful 2001 Symbol 62 enjoying this summer in the Exhumas where she spent 6 weeks, nearly all at anchor away from jet skis “and other noise makers”. What does it take to have this much fun and quiet relaxation? According to her owners start with a shallow draft, a strong pulpit/anchor & chain setup to hold you tight and a 4000 watt inverter system. That electrical system also involves two generators allowing the Rose’s to “cycle the 20kW for the 4pm-midnight operation when demand is high, then the 10kW takes over to provide overnight coverage and we invert from 10am-4pm.

The next day we do it all over again”. Key to a long stay are the creature comforts and for that this 62’s is outfitted with a 36 bottle wine cooler (and storage for 2 more cases), a serious ice maker, dual freezer drawers and a real oven for home made pizza and prime rib. Toss in 800 gpd watermaker to keep the ice and showers flowing and you’ll be the Symbol of Rest and Recreation.
